Onuimo State Constituency: Esile Exemplifying Quality Representation

Fair Democracy is really at play in Onuimo State Constituency. This is because the person representing the locality in the Imo State House of Assembly, Hon. Uba James Esile, is a pure democrat, a political colossus, who is good, development oriented, godly, visionary and a humanitarian.

Many persons especially youths of Onuimo origin are being economically lifted given to the magnanimity and democratic spirit of Esile who sees politics as an avenue to serve people creditably, wholly and affectionately.

Practically, in less than one year in office, Esile, who won his election overwhelmingly, given to the enormous love of Onuimo people towards him,, had legislatively, wisely and diplomatically Sponsored and Co- sponsored human oriented Bills and Motions which are largely beneficial to the people.

Among the Motions and Bills Esile raised at the Floor of the House of Assembly is drawing the attention of Imo State Government to bad state of roads in Onuimo for quick intervention.

Esile being a visionary leader saw the need to strengthen commercial activities at the agrarian area to ensure that rural dwellers are properly economically engaged with food sufficiency and food security being the order of the day hence he called the attention of government to the bad condition of roads in Onuimo.

To say the least, the lawmaker pioneered the registration of over 200 Onuimo youths to enable them participate in the ongoing Cohort 3 of Imo the Skill-Up Digital Empowerment and Training in the state.

Esile willfully appointed 45 Special Advisers who would assist him mainstream his burning desire and vision of New Onuimo to the grassroots on his people - oriented programs and interventions which he had lined up for Onuimo State Constituency.

He freely registered  WAEC and UTME for Onuimo young school leavers, a feat he does annually through his Pet Foundation, Fresh Air. He freely assisted eleven Onuimo indigenes to secure admission into Imo State University Owerri, this year, silently.

Esile is a good party man who has richly given support to Governor Hope Uzodimma and APC. Little wonder he and other leaders of APC in Onuimo boldly and sincerely led the entire indigenes of Onuimo to massively vote for the Governor during the 2023 Guber Poll in the state which added to his victory.

Hon. Uba James Esile has made many friends because he embodies respect, love, humility, good leadership, accessibility and empathy. He is a man who shows positive regard and consideration for others, acknowledges their worth, dignity and individuality. He treats people with love and respect, no doubt.

It can be said that parts of Esile's Electoral Manifestos: "Uplifting the Masses, New Onuimo is Assured, Agenda for Youth Emancipation, Well Packed and Prepared to Deliver", have been openly fulfilled.

However, because of his zeal and determination to give the people of Onuimo quality, effective, fair and all-embracing representation as promised during electioneering, a socio-political/cultural group, Mezie Okigwe Forum, affirmed its continued support to Esile's leadership which it described as aptly democratic.

The group during one of its visits to the lawmaker at his office in Owerri, said "we came to appreciate you for the way and manner you have been representing us. You have sponsored and co-sponsored Bills and Motions. You have drawn the attention of the State Government to the condition of our roads. We have noted your empowerment programs in Onuimo, especially, your purchase of JAMB, WAEC and NECO forms for Onuimo secondary school  students". 

The group added that "indeed, your recent appointment of 45 SAs is commendable. We have come to thank and wish you well and to inform you to always count on our support anytime, any day. We are very excited with your commitment to make Onuimo great and  better".

Esile is accessible, a vibrant, an articulate, intelligent lawmaker and a supper philanthropist who exemplifies good representation and humanitarian gesture to Onuimo people who are happy to have him in the Imo State House of Assembly as their representative.
