Adekunle Olopade and Venita Akpofure, roommates on Big Brother Naija All Stars, have declared their love for one another.

In the course of the Sunday live performance, the couple made their relationship status official.

Is Adekunle your favorite male toy, said the host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu to Venita. What exactly is happening there?

He is absolutely not a guy toy, Venita retorted. My boyfriend is him. We are beginning a relationship that, ideally, will go beyond this House.

"Are you official as well?" Ebuka inquired once again.

"Yeah, I'll admit I'm on my end, but we haven't discussed it," Venita retorted. The person you see here, Adekunle, is my current favorite.

So, Adekunle, is she [Venita] your girlfriend? Ebuka inquired.

Are you dating her? 
Adekunle answered, "Yes!"

Alleged Homosexuality:"Fr Mario Remanded In Correctional Center.

  An Owerri magestarate court, last week, Friday, remanded "Fr. Mario Justus Chinonso Alozie" in  custody over allegations of homosexuality, but the case was adjourned to Wednesday, February 5,2025 , for consideration of his bail. "Fr.Mario"was arraigned before the magistrate presided by His Worship Doris Chukwuezi Ahanonu, on charges of -unnatural offence, contrary to section 214 of the Criminal Code; indecent treatment of boys under fourteen, contrary to section 216 of the Criminal Code and unlawful sexual interaction with a child, contrary to section 31, Child Rights Act,all related to homosexuality. However, the court ruled that  it lacked jurisdiction to hear the case and ordered that the defendant be remanded in custody until the issue of considering his bail is resolved.   Indigenes of Umuihugba/Umuodu in Owerri Municipal Local Government Area of Imo State have formerly handed over a Site Project to the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, for the installation of 229 Solar Powered Streetlights in the community. The Solar Powered Streetlights project was attracted by the APC candidate for Owerri Federal Constituency in the 2023 election, Hon. CDB Williams.  The contracting firm handling the project is Cascade Engineering Systems Limited based in Port-Harcourt, the capital of Rivers State.
