BREAKING: A Six-Day Power Outage Is Expected To Hit Three States

The Jos Electricity Distribution (JED) firm said on Saturday that there would be power disruptions for its clients in the states of Plateau, Bauchi, and Gombe from August 28 to September.

The scheduled six-day outage would take place between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm during that time, according to the distribution firm, which made the announcement in a statement released by its Head of Corporate Communications, Dr. Friday Elijah, in Jos.

The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) arranged the outage, according to Elijah, to allow its local engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractors to perform installations.

''In order for TCN's EPCC contractors to safely link the gantry beam of the new APO line to the pre-existing Lafia line-Jos 330kv double circuit, an outage is planned.

He urged clients to exercise patience and understanding, stressing that the business is committed to enhancing its offerings.
