Wike Denies Using A N300m Bulletproof Automobile While Serving As FCT Minister

Wike Nyesom, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has refuted claims that he drives a N300 million bulletproof automobile for work purposes.

There have been rumors that Wike just received a pricey bulletproof car with the license plate "FCT 01" worth N300 million.

Wike, the FCT Minister, disagreed with the allegations, claiming that the automobile he is driving is not bulletproof, in an interview with journalists in Abuja on Wednesday.

He said that while serving as the goveror of Rivers State, he drove a bulletproof vehicle, but not any longer.

  An Owerri magestarate court, last week, Friday, remanded "Fr. Mario Justus Chinonso Alozie" in  custody over allegations of homosexuality, but the case was adjourned to Wednesday, February 5,2025 , for consideration of his bail. "Fr.Mario"was arraigned before the magistrate presided by His Worship Doris Chukwuezi Ahanonu, on charges of -unnatural offence, contrary to section 214 of the Criminal Code; indecent treatment of boys under fourteen, contrary to section 216 of the Criminal Code and unlawful sexual interaction with a child, contrary to section 31, Child Rights Act,all related to homosexuality. However, the court ruled that  it lacked jurisdiction to hear the case and ordered that the defendant be remanded in custody until the issue of considering his bail is resolved.   Indigenes of Umuihugba/Umuodu in Owerri Municipal Local Government Area of Imo State have formerly handed over a Site Project to the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, for the installation of 229 Solar Powered Streetlights in the community.
