Akeredolu' Deputy Has Seven Days To React To The Impeachment Notice- Ondo Assembly.

According to the Ondo State House of Assembly, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the state's deputy governor, has been given a seven-day deadline to reply to the charges of corruption leveled against him.

This was said by Oshati Olatunji, the chairman of the information committee of the Ondo State House of Assembly, in an interview with Politics Today on Channels TV.

The deputy governor's dismissal had reportedly started, according to the House of Assembly.

When Lucky Aiyedatiwa served as the acting governor while Governor Rotimi Akeredolu was away on a three-month sick leave, the House charged him with gross misconduct.

"There are allegations against the deputy governor that hint at financial misappropriation," Olatunji stated. Legislators have an obligation to carry out their duties. We are not conducting a witch hunt.

"This includes a claim for N30 million and constitutional violations. We are requesting that he respond to these accusations to us within seven days.
