APC Forms 9-Member Panel Led by Former Katsina Governor to Mediate in Akeredolu-Aiyedatiwa Rift
In a bid to quell the escalating tensions between Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, and his deputy, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has taken a unique step.
The national leadership of the party has assembled a 9-member Committee, with the former governor of Katsina State, Hon. Aminu Bello Masari, at the helm.
This distinctive move isn't just about intervention; it's also about fostering a harmonious reconciliation among all involved parties.
Edwin Olofo, Chief Press Secretary to the APC National Chairman, unveiled this strategy in a statement issued from the party's National Secretariat in Abuja.
The APC is deeply concerned about the political turmoil in Ondo State, recognizing that failure to act swiftly could breed further discord among party loyalists.
With the establishment of this Committee, the party aims to engage in constructive dialogue with stakeholders in the state, emphasizing mutual respect, in pursuit of a long-lasting resolution.
The message from the National Secretariat is clear: all parties involved should maintain composure and offer their full cooperation and support to the Masari-led Committee.
This unconventional approach seeks to bring about a unique and peaceful resolution to the ongoing dispute.
