As 'Calm Down' Reaches One Billion Spotify Streams, Don Jazzy Congratulates Rema.

 


Michael Collins Ajereh, a seasoned Nigerian producer and music executive better known as Don Jazzy, congratulated Rema, a signee of his, after the remix of his hit song, "Calm Down," featuring Selena Gomez, became the first African song to reach the billion-stream milestone in Spotify history.

The Mavin CEO stated that Rema's accomplishment wasn't "small at all."

Massive congratulations to @heisrema as Calmdown ft. @selenagomez just crossed 1 billion streams on Spotify, Don Jazzy posted on his X page. This is by no means a little thing. I appreciate your love and support, guys.

The original version of "Calm Down" was recognized by Guinness World Records as the top song on the world's first regional streaming chart, according to theglobalnewsupdates.
