Brazilian star Antony is alleged to have assaulted his ex-girlfriend, and Manchester United has been charged with trying to hide this.

 The shocking complaint was made by Gabriela Cavallin and her attorneys to the Sao Paulo Civil Police, who is also looking into the assault claims with Greater Manchester Police.

'Categorically false,' United has blasted the charges.

Cavallin claims that on January 15, Antony allegedly assaulted his then-girlfriend at the Manchester Hyatt Regency Hotel and that the club sent a player support officer to investigate.

She claims that after giving her a headbutt, the 23-year-old threw her violently onto the bed before falling on top of her, which caused one of her breast implants to go loose. She alleges that in addition to needing reconstructive surgery, she also received a head in order to prevent Cavallin from visiting a hospital and raising any red flag, the defense team for Cavallin claims that the support officer sought to cover up the attack by asking a club doctor to examine her

According to reports in Brazil on Wednesday, they have asked Sao Paulo Police to look into the role the support officer played in the incident, and they have also asked for CCTV footage from the hotel.

On Wednesday evening, United said that a staff member had, at Antony's request, scheduled a private physician to see Cavallin, but they insisted that none of the team's medical personnel had actually attended to her.

t is believed to be normal practice for United's welfare team to schedule doctor appointments for players' partners and families.

  An Owerri magestarate court, last week, Friday, remanded "Fr. Mario Justus Chinonso Alozie" in  custody over allegations of homosexuality, but the case was adjourned to Wednesday, February 5,2025 , for consideration of his bail. "Fr.Mario"was arraigned before the magistrate presided by His Worship Doris Chukwuezi Ahanonu, on charges of -unnatural offence, contrary to section 214 of the Criminal Code; indecent treatment of boys under fourteen, contrary to section 216 of the Criminal Code and unlawful sexual interaction with a child, contrary to section 31, Child Rights Act,all related to homosexuality.
