Breaking: Shops In A Well-Known Abuja Retail Center Are Demolished By FCTA [PHOTOS]

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) started demolishing unauthorized stores and other buildings near the well-known Area 1 Shopping Complex on Monday.

The FCTA development control unit demolished the area in order to give it a fresh appearance.

The FCTA claims that the action was also taken to enhance traffic flow within the congested area.

As bulldozers demolished the businesses, traders could be seen transferring their items.
