Breaking: Tope Fasua Named Special Advisor To Tinubu On Economic Issues
President Bola Tinubu has named Tope Fasua, the CEO of Global Analytics Consulting, to the position of Special Adviser on Economic Affairs in the Vice President's office.
Fasua published information about the situation on his X account on Friday night.

Fasua, a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, graduated first in his economics class in 1991 from the Ondo State University.
From the London Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom, he earned his second degree in Financial Markets & Derivatives. In 1992, he began his work with the now-defunct Citizens Bank.
Later on, he worked for Equatorial Trust Bank and Standard Trust Bank, where he eventually advanced to the post of Principal Manager/Regional Director in Abuja.
Fasua is a frequent economics and financial markets analyst on television and has an executive education certificate from Harvard University and a PhD in public administration.
At the Ondo State University, Fasua—a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria—graduated first in his economics class in 1991.
His second degree is in Financial Markets & Derivatives from London Metropolitan University in the UK. He started working for the now-defunct Citizens Bank in 1992.
