Chicago State University Attests Tinubu Attended And Graduated From The School In 1979.

President Bola Tinubu attended Chicago State University (CSU), where he earned a bachelor's degree in 1979. The university acknowledged this in a statement to CBS News. 

However, it emphasized that federal law in the United States forbids it from disclosing any additional information regarding Tinubu's record without permission or unless permitted by a court order. 

Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party's presidential contender for the 2023 election, claimed that the records proving that Tinubu graduated from CSU in 1979 were falsified and used this claim as justification for overturning Tinubu's election victory. 

CSU's attorney, Michael Hayes, stated that the institution could attest to the president's graduation, but the diploma was a ceremonial item and not part of the student's official academic record.

  An Owerri magestarate court, last week, Friday, remanded "Fr. Mario Justus Chinonso Alozie" in  custody over allegations of homosexuality, but the case was adjourned to Wednesday, February 5,2025 , for consideration of his bail. "Fr.Mario"was arraigned before the magistrate presided by His Worship Doris Chukwuezi Ahanonu, on charges of -unnatural offence, contrary to section 214 of the Criminal Code; indecent treatment of boys under fourteen, contrary to section 216 of the Criminal Code and unlawful sexual interaction with a child, contrary to section 31, Child Rights Act,all related to homosexuality. However, the court ruled that  it lacked jurisdiction to hear the case and ordered that the defendant be remanded in custody until the issue of considering his bail is resolved.   Indigenes of Umuihugba/Umuodu in Owerri Municipal Local Government Area of Imo State have formerly handed over a Site Project to the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, for the installation of 229 Solar Powered Streetlights in the community.
