NEWS: CJN Inducts New Appeal Court Judges [FULL LIST]
Nine newly appointed Justices of the Court of Appeal received their oaths of office from Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN).
The justices were sworn in on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at the Supreme Court compound in Abuja, according to theglobalnewsupdates.
Here are the justices:
1. Kaduna State's Justice Hannatu Azumi Laja-Balogun, a tenured High Court judge since May 24, 1999.
2. Kaduna State native Justice Binta Fatima Zubairu, a High Court judge since October 31, 2001.
3. High Court judge from Anambra State, Justice Peter Chudi Obiora, who has presided over cases since January 17, 2005.
4. On June 22, 2009, Justice Okon Efreti Abang of Akwa Ibom State commenced his tenure on the High Court bench.

6. On June 26, 2014, Justice Lateef Adebayo Ganiyu of Oyo State was appointed to the High Court Bench.
7. On February 12, 2015, Cross River State native and High Court judge Justice Jane Esienanwan Iyang took the oath of office.
8. Sokoto State native Justice Hadiza Rabiu Shagari, who joined the High Court Bench on February 12, 2015.
[9. On July 14, 2017, Justice Paul Ahmed Bassi of Borno State started his journey to the High Court.
