NEWS: Legendary Music Producer Passes Away
The famed music producer known as "Mighty Mouse," John Oboh, who developed the Ajegunle rhythm in the 1990s, has apparently passed away.
Mighty Mouse passed away in Lagos today, September 18, after battling what doctors believe to be cancer.
His death was confirmed to theglobalnewsupdates by a family member.
It has been unable to get in touch with Mighty Mouse's sister, Mabel Oboh, for comment.
The late John had ten siblings, including Mabel Oboh, the national publicity secretary of the African Democratic Congress, Peter Oboh, a former British and Commonwealth light heavyweight boxing champion, and Chief Josephine Oboh-Macleod, a well-known art collector, curator, and philanthropist.
Ajegunle City's musical savior is Mighty Mouse. He produced the music presently referred to and recognized as Galala.
