Roma's Lukaku Begins For Belgium Against Azerbaijan.
Romelu Lukaku joined Roma from Chelsea but has only made a few appearances. He will start for Belgium against Azerbaijan in their Euro 2024 qualifying match.
The 30-year-old striker did not have a typical preseason because of his extraordinarily difficult summer, during which he nearly returned to Inter before Juventus complicated matters. He eventually joined the Giallorossi with just hours remaining in the transfer window after a move to Turin never materialized.
Due to his lack of preseason training before to his transfer, worries were raised regarding Lukaku's health, and he was only able to play a cameo role in the defeat to Milan for 19 minutes.
Lukaku will start as the centerpiece of the three-man assault for Belgium in their Euro 2024 qualifying match against Azerbaijan.
Roma's first three Serie A games this season have yielded just one point, and it is hoped that the Belgian striker will provide them a big boost once he has been fully incorporated into the team.
