Sofyan Amrabat Of Manchester United Offers Prayers Following The Earthquake In Morocco

Those impacted by the catastrophic earthquake in Morocco have received the warmest wishes from Sofyan Amrabat.

After a terrible earthquake that struck Marrakesh and other cities around 11 p.m. local time on Friday, hundreds of people have died. Buildings were severely damaged, and the earthquake, which had a magnitude of 6.8, resulted in considerable loss of life.

Amrabat withdrew owing to a minor injury after initially being picked in the Moroccan team for their forthcoming international friendlies. The midfielder would "return to work at Carrington," according to a statement made by United earlier on Friday.

James Cleverly, the foreign secretary of the United Kingdom, posted the following message on X: "Devastating news of a large earthquake near outside Marrakesh, Morocco. British nationals in the area are still receiving assistance from the UK. In any manner we can, we are prepared to assist our friends in Morocco.

They have sent their support to other world leaders. There have been hundreds more injured in addition to the over 800 fatalities.
