Striker Paul Onuachu Joins Trabzonspor On Loan From Southampton.

Paul Onuachu, a striker for Southampton, has signed a season-long loan with Trabzonspor of Turkey.

He transferred from Belgian club Genk to Saints in January and made 11 Premier League games before they were demoted without scoring.

 However, the 29-year-old has only made one appearance for Russell Martin's team this season, coming on as a substitute in an EFL Cup match.

Saints have won three of their last five games and sit sixth in the Championship.

  An Owerri magestarate court, last week, Friday, remanded "Fr. Mario Justus Chinonso Alozie" in  custody over allegations of homosexuality, but the case was adjourned to Wednesday, February 5,2025 , for consideration of his bail. "Fr.Mario"was arraigned before the magistrate presided by His Worship Doris Chukwuezi Ahanonu, on charges of -unnatural offence, contrary to section 214 of the Criminal Code; indecent treatment of boys under fourteen, contrary to section 216 of the Criminal Code and unlawful sexual interaction with a child, contrary to section 31, Child Rights Act,all related to homosexuality. However, the court ruled that  it lacked jurisdiction to hear the case and ordered that the defendant be remanded in custody until the issue of considering his bail is resolved.   Indigenes of Umuihugba/Umuodu in Owerri Municipal Local Government Area of Imo State have formerly handed over a Site Project to the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, for the installation of 229 Solar Powered Streetlights in the community. The Solar Powered Streetlights project was attracted by the APC candidate for Owerri Federal Constituency in the 2023 election, Hon.
