Super Falcons And Cape Verde Face Off In The Second Round Of The 2024 WAFCON

In the second round of the qualifiers for the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations, Nigeria's Super Falcons will play Cape Verde.

After defeating Liberia in the opening round 6-2 on aggregate, Cape Verde secured a meeting with Nigeria.

Tuesday night in Monrovia, the second leg saw Cape Verde overcome Liberia 3-2.

They triumphed 3-0 in Praia for the opening leg last week.

The Super Falcons received a walkover against So Tomé and Principe since they withdrew before the first leg and did not compete in the first round.

In December, Nigeria and Cape Verde will compete for a spot in the WAFCON 2024, which will be held in Morocco.
