The Leader Of The Ondo Assembly Discloses Akeredolu's Whereabouts
Rotimi Akeredolu, the governor of Ondo State, has returned to the nation after receiving treatment in Germany, according to Wole Ogunmolasuyi, the majority leader in the state.
When Akeredolu traveled to Germany for medical care three months ago, Naija News recalled, he did it for personal reasons.
The governor gave over control to his deputy, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, in an acting capacity before he left for his medical vacation in Germany and informed the Ondo State House of Assembly about his travel plans.
The announcement of his return, however, was made earlier by his wife Betty in a post via X (previously Twitter), where she posted a picture of her husband in an airplane and said, "Homebound," along with an emoji of a finger pointing at a house to signify returning home.
The governor was already at his Ibadan home, according to Ogunmolasuyi, who discussed the development in an interview with theglobalnewsupdates.
We are grateful that the governor is back in the nation, he remarked. He arrived in Abuja and went immediately to Ibadan.
Another source claimed that the governor would spend a few days in Ibadan at his home before traveling to Ondo State.
According to the source, he would spend some time in Ibadan before returning to Ondo State to take up his position. We'll officially launch everything on Friday.
