Senegalese-American artist Akon has admitted that he is "the stingiest man on the planet" because one needs to be cautious in order to keep their money.

While appearing as a guest on the most recent episode of Impulsive Podcast, the singer of "Blame It On Me" revealed this.

If you want to be prosperous, keep being economical, advises Akon. The world's most conservative man, I am.

Additionally, he cautioned friends and followers against purchasing a private plane if they want to "stay rich."

Whatever you do, avoid owning a [private] jet, he said. Having a jet requires spending at least $2–3 million a year on maintenance, my friend. More money is spent on maintenance than the actual cost of the plane. I always recommend doing this, everyone. You must be able to live off of the money you have right now. When you think about it that way, you will be very cautious.

Alleged Homosexuality:"Fr Mario Remanded In Correctional Center.

  An Owerri magestarate court, last week, Friday, remanded "Fr. Mario Justus Chinonso Alozie" in  custody over allegations of homosexuality, but the case was adjourned to Wednesday, February 5,2025 , for consideration of his bail. "Fr.Mario"was arraigned before the magistrate presided by His Worship Doris Chukwuezi Ahanonu, on charges of -unnatural offence, contrary to section 214 of the Criminal Code; indecent treatment of boys under fourteen, contrary to section 216 of the Criminal Code and unlawful sexual interaction with a child, contrary to section 31, Child Rights Act,all related to homosexuality. However, the court ruled that  it lacked jurisdiction to hear the case and ordered that the defendant be remanded in custody until the issue of considering his bail is resolved.   Indigenes of Umuihugba/Umuodu in Owerri Municipal Local Government Area of Imo State have formerly handed over a Site Project to the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, for the installation of 229 Solar Powered Streetlights in the community. The Solar Powered Streetlights project was attracted by the APC candidate for Owerri Federal Constituency in the 2023 election, Hon. CDB Williams.  The contracting firm handling the project is Cascade Engineering Systems Limited based in Port-Harcourt, the capital of Rivers State.
