Don't Search Your Husband's Phones- Kwankwaso Counsels Spouses During The Kano Mass Wedding.

In a unique twist of advice, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, the National Leader of the New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP), has emphasized the importance of privacy in marriage.

During a recent reception for 1,800 couples who participated in Kano State's mass wedding scheme, he stressed that checking your spouse's phone is now considered a leading cause of marital disputes.

Kwankwaso's unconventional counsel urges couples to respect each other's privacy and refrain from peeping into their partner's devices.

Kwankwaso also commended the Kano State Government for its support of marriage through the mass wedding initiative, affirming that Governor Abba Yusuf's leadership has upheld important traditions, including this grand event.

Governor Yusuf, in his remarks, highlighted that the beneficiaries of this mass wedding were carefully selected from various parts of the state, and the government assumed full responsibility for their marriage.

This encompassed covering dowry expenses, providing furniture, wedding food supplies, and granting brides an initial sum of N20,000 to initiate small-scale businesses.

He further encouraged the newlyweds to live harmoniously in line with Islamic teachings.

However, it's worth noting that Sheikh Aminu Daurawa, the Commander General of Kano Hisbah Board, revealed that among the 1,800 couples, 264 weddings were postponed due to some couples testing positive for health issues.

After receiving the necessary medical care, a future date will be set for their weddings, adding a unique twist to the celebration.
