Lagos Government Changes The Traffic Diversion Strategy For The Opebi-Link Bridge Restoration.

In a unique traffic adjustment plan related to the construction of the Opebi Link Bridge, the Lagos State Government, through Commissioner for Transportation Oluwaseun Osiyemi, has announced a diversion strategy that will be in effect for four weeks starting from October 16, 2023.

During this period, the following alternative routes will be available for motorists:

1. Motorists heading towards Opebi Road will be allowed to use one side of the Opebi Road Carriageway, as the construction necessitates the closure of the second lane.

2. For those heading towards Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way from Allen Avenue/Toyin Street, the route will take them through Toyin Street, with a connection to Ikeja Under Bridge, ensuring that their journeys can continue smoothly.

Osiyemi emphasized the importance of motorists adhering to traffic signs and the instructions provided by relevant traffic management authorities.

This unique traffic diversion plan aims to maintain a continuous flow of traffic while the construction work on the Opebi Link Bridge progresses.
