NIPOST Workers Opposed The New CEO And Closed The Headquarters

Employees of the Nigerian Postal Service have staged a protest by shutting down the service's head office in Abuja

Their demonstration is in response to the appointment of Tola Odeyemi as the new Chief Executive Officer and Post Master General, which follows the removal of the former CEO, Sunday Adepoju, by President Bola Tinubu.

The President's decision to appoint new leadership in the communication, innovation, and digital economy sectors has sparked these protests within the postal service.
