Pep Guardiola Honor's Franny Lee, A Legend At Manchester City

In the wake of Manchester City's continued triumphs, Pep Guardiola attributes their current success to remarkable individuals like the late Franny Lee. 

The club is in mourning as they bid farewell to a legendary figure who passed away at the age of 79. 

Lee, an integral part of the historic City team that clinched the First Division, FA Cup, League Cup, and Cup Winner's Cup titles between 1968-70, not only boasted an impressive array of honors but also served as the club's chairman from 1994 to 1998.

In a heartfelt tribute, Guardiola reflected, "Franny Lee is an indelible part of our identity. 

Our journey, our everyday achievements, owe a debt to individuals like him, along with Colin Bell and Mike Summerbee, from the past generations who contributed to building the foundation of this club and organization. 

To his wife and family, we extend our deepest condolences and a warm embrace during this time of loss."

Alleged Homosexuality:"Fr Mario Remanded In Correctional Center.

  An Owerri magestarate court, last week, Friday, remanded "Fr. Mario Justus Chinonso Alozie" in  custody over allegations of homosexuality, but the case was adjourned to Wednesday, February 5,2025 , for consideration of his bail. "Fr.Mario"was arraigned before the magistrate presided by His Worship Doris Chukwuezi Ahanonu, on charges of -unnatural offence, contrary to section 214 of the Criminal Code; indecent treatment of boys under fourteen, contrary to section 216 of the Criminal Code and unlawful sexual interaction with a child, contrary to section 31, Child Rights Act,all related to homosexuality. However, the court ruled that  it lacked jurisdiction to hear the case and ordered that the defendant be remanded in custody until the issue of considering his bail is resolved.   Indigenes of Umuihugba/Umuodu in Owerri Municipal Local Government Area of Imo State have formerly handed over a Site Project to the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, for the installation of 229 Solar Powered Streetlights in the community. The Solar Powered Streetlights project was attracted by the APC candidate for Owerri Federal Constituency in the 2023 election, Hon. CDB Williams.  The contracting firm handling the project is Cascade Engineering Systems Limited based in Port-Harcourt, the capital of Rivers State.
