Primate Ayodele Cautions PDP Candidates For Governorship In Kaduna And Nasarawa In An Appeal To The Election Tribunal

Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has issued a warning to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidates in Kaduna and Nasarawa States regarding their recent election victories.

The election tribunal had declared the PDP candidates winners in these states, but Primate Ayodele believes that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is determined to do everything possible to overturn these tribunal judgments.

He advised the PDP candidates to stay alert and closely follow the cases to ensure that they secure victory. 

Primate Ayodele emphasized that the PDP holds influence in these states and must fight for its rightful victories.

He also mentioned that the APC is making efforts to unseat the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) candidate in Kano, and if the NNPP candidate does not act swiftly, the APC may succeed.

Primate Ayodele warned against preventing the rule of law and justice from prevailing, as it could have dire consequences for the country, and he urged that justice should be allowed to take its course in the electoral process.

  An Owerri magestarate court, last week, Friday, remanded "Fr. Mario Justus Chinonso Alozie" in  custody over allegations of homosexuality, but the case was adjourned to Wednesday, February 5,2025 , for consideration of his bail. "Fr.Mario"was arraigned before the magistrate presided by His Worship Doris Chukwuezi Ahanonu, on charges of -unnatural offence, contrary to section 214 of the Criminal Code; indecent treatment of boys under fourteen, contrary to section 216 of the Criminal Code and unlawful sexual interaction with a child, contrary to section 31, Child Rights Act,all related to homosexuality. However, the court ruled that  it lacked jurisdiction to hear the case and ordered that the defendant be remanded in custody until the issue of considering his bail is resolved.   Indigenes of Umuihugba/Umuodu in Owerri Municipal Local Government Area of Imo State have formerly handed over a Site Project to the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, for the installation of 229 Solar Powered Streetlights in the community.
