Simon Jordan Discusses What Frank Lampard Would Have Accomplished At Everton If He Hadn't Been Fired.

Simon Jordan's recent critique of Frank Lampard's managerial career has caused quite a stir.

Jordan, known for his outspoken opinions, didn't mince words when discussing Lampard's suitability for top managerial positions.

He suggested that Lampard's reputation as a player might be the primary reason he attracts interest from prestigious clubs.

Lampard's journey as a manager has been a rollercoaster ride.

He started at Derby County, making waves by nurturing talents like Fikayo Tomori, Mason Mount, and Harry Wilson. Despite reaching the Championship play-offs, promotion eluded him, leading to his leap to Chelsea.

While he secured a fourth-place finish and an FA Cup final during his tenure, he was eventually dismissed as Chelsea struggled.

His brief stint at Everton in 2022 didn't fare much better, narrowly avoiding relegation before his departure.

Even his second stint at Chelsea ended with a disappointing bottom-half finish.

Jordan's criticism of Lampard extended to his Everton tenure, suggesting that they narrowly escaped relegation thanks to Sean Dyche's arrival rather than Lampard's management.

Jordan emphasized that Lampard needs to evolve as a football manager, relying less on his player legacy and more on his coaching skills.

In defense of Lampard, it's worth noting that he faced challenging circumstances at each club.

His initial campaign at Chelsea exceeded expectations, and Everton's struggles were well-established before his arrival.

Nevertheless, it seems clear that Lampard may need more time and experience before returning to top-level management, with Rangers potentially being a premature move given their current coach's Championship-level status.

In summary, while Lampard's reputation as a player has opened doors for him in the managerial world, Simon Jordan's criticism highlights the need for Lampard to further develop his coaching abilities to succeed in high-pressure roles.
