Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has identified Liverpool as his side's biggest English rivals, downplaying Arsenal's status in this regard. 

Guardiola made this assertion during a recent interview with Sky Sports.

He emphasized Liverpool as a long-standing rival, stating, "When I finish my career in England, Liverpool will have been my rival, our rival. Always."

In contrast, Guardiola acknowledged that Arsenal has recently emerged as a competitive team, citing their FA Cup and title wins. 

He also noted that they are now back in the Champions League after a significant absence. 

However, he still placed Liverpool ahead of Arsenal in terms of historical rivalry.

Guardiola's comments highlight the intense competition between Manchester City and Liverpool in recent years, making their matches some of the most highly anticipated fixtures in English football.

  An Owerri magestarate court, last week, Friday, remanded "Fr. Mario Justus Chinonso Alozie" in  custody over allegations of homosexuality, but the case was adjourned to Wednesday, February 5,2025 , for consideration of his bail. "Fr.Mario"was arraigned before the magistrate presided by His Worship Doris Chukwuezi Ahanonu, on charges of -unnatural offence, contrary to section 214 of the Criminal Code; indecent treatment of boys under fourteen, contrary to section 216 of the Criminal Code and unlawful sexual interaction with a child, contrary to section 31, Child Rights Act,all related to homosexuality. However, the court ruled that  it lacked jurisdiction to hear the case and ordered that the defendant be remanded in custody until the issue of considering his bail is resolved.   Indigenes of Umuihugba/Umuodu in Owerri Municipal Local Government Area of Imo State have formerly handed over a Site Project to the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, for the installation of 229 Solar Powered Streetlights in the community.
