Collins Osuagwu Vows To Exemplify Governance In Grassroots, As Isiala Mbano Nzes Endorse His Chairmanship

A vibrant contestant and candidate of African Democratic Congress (ADC) for Isiala Mbano Council Chairmanship in the 21st September 2024 Council Elections in Imo State, Chief Collins Osuagwu, has been honored, blessed and endorsed by elders and  Nzes in Isiala Mbano.

The endorsement and blessing to the Executive Chairmanship Seat of Isiala Mbano came when the Nzes under the platform of Council of Ndi Nze paid Chief Collins Osuagwu a homage at his Amakohia Owerri North residence, on Saturday.

Endorsing and blessing Chief Collins Osuagwu who was the former governorship candidate of ADC in the last election, the President, Council of Ndi Nze, Imo State chapter, Nze kelvin Nwosu, noted that Ndi Nze in Isiala Mbano took the decision because Osuagwu is the right person to steer the Executive Office and hence bring down democratic governance to the rural people who he reflected have been yearning for quality leadership at the grassroots, reiterating that he is youthful, vibrant, brave, intelligent, humble, accessible and stands the best chance to win the election in the interest of the rural dwellers.

Promising to be in the forefront of Osuagwu's campaign to ensure massive support and victory, Nwosu stated that "his aspiration is our collective struggle. We urged him to come out and contest because of what he has been doing in Isiala Mbano through his foundation which we know very well he is going to do million times to take Isiala Mbano to a greater height. We want to associate with success which he exudes". 

Nwosu who is also the President of Council of Ndi Nze, Isiala Mbano chapter, added that "the Nzes are soliciting the Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, to adopt and consider Chief Collins Osuagwu for the LG Executive Chairman Position, not minding political affiliation, as the ADC candidate will help to lift Imo positively. He is a shinning light and has been around a shinning light, he is transparent and trustworthy".

Assuring to bring down democratic governance to the grassroots and start building social amenities in the villages to reduce hardship and mass influx into the city for greener pastures or better life, Collins Osuagwu, Candidate of ADC for Isiala Mbano Chairmanship, appealed to the people of the area to consider him fit and worthy for the Seat and elect him as Executive Chairman.

Assuring that he will not disappoint the people of Isiala Mbano if he is elected, Osuagwu thanked the elders and Nzes of the locality for unanimously endorsing, honoring and blessing him to the position.

"I am astonished, happy and profoundly grateful to the elders and Nzes of Isiala Mbano for honoring, blessing and endorsing me to be the next Executive Chairman of Isiala Mbano local government. When the elders are with you - no one is against you - you are sure of success and victory", Osuagwu added.

  An Owerri magestarate court, last week, Friday, remanded "Fr. Mario Justus Chinonso Alozie" in  custody over allegations of homosexuality, but the case was adjourned to Wednesday, February 5,2025 , for consideration of his bail. "Fr.Mario"was arraigned before the magistrate presided by His Worship Doris Chukwuezi Ahanonu, on charges of -unnatural offence, contrary to section 214 of the Criminal Code; indecent treatment of boys under fourteen, contrary to section 216 of the Criminal Code and unlawful sexual interaction with a child, contrary to section 31, Child Rights Act,all related to homosexuality.
