I Lied Against Uzodimma, Says Ex Commissioner, Ihekweme *Apologizes To Imo Governor



 Embattled former Commissioner in Imo State, Dr. Fabian Ihekweme has admitted that all the articles he wrote against Gov Hope Uzodimma were all fabricated lies with malicious intent.

He has therefore rendered an unreserved apology to Uzodimma with an undertaking that he would never engage in such a despicable behaviour henceforth.

In an undertaking letter he addressed to the Commissioner of police, Imo State, Dr Fabian Ihekweme stated thus:

” I hereby wish to categorically state that I regret writing all the inciting articles against the Governor ( Uzodimma), which are fallacious and unverifiable,”

In the letter that was handwritten, Dr Fabian Ihekweme also acknowledged Uzodimma as his leader and friend and pledged to refrain from any act that would tarnish the image of the governor.

In the letter dated Jan 27th, 2025, Dr Fabian Ihekweme gave an undertaking to be of good behaviour and refrain from any conduct likely to breach the peace.

He also pledged not to engage in writing inciting articles against the governor and the state government.

Dr. Ihekweme commended the police for their professionalism in investigating the matter.
